What is a proverb? A proverb is a short sentence or expression. A proverb often gives advice or expresses a common life experience.
In this video, you will learn the following 9 English proverbs:
Curiosity killed the cat.
Don't put all your eggs in one basket.
Don't count your chickens before they hatch.
The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.
Cross that bridge when you come to it.
Every cloud has a silver lining.
Make hay while the sun shines.
Many hands make light work.
Too many cooks spoil the broth.
