01-abeyance: a state of suspension temporary inaction
02-absolution: it's the act of washing or cleansing, especially of the body, but the word also has really strong ties to religion 
03-banal: it's an adjective to describe something that's really common; it can also mean something that lacks originality
04-caucus: it's a private meeting where members of a political party come together and select their candidates
05-delectation: delight
06-elucidate: to bring out more clearly the facts concerning something
07-extol: it means to praise in the highest terms
08-imbibe: it means to drink or to take in 
09-intermittent: a temporary discontinuance
10-jugular: it's anything pertaining to the throat
11-kiln: an oven or furnace for baking, burning, or drying things
12-levity:lightness of mind, character, or behavior; lack of appropriate seriousness
13-lingo: it is language and speech of a particular group 
14-maroon: to put ashore and abandon a person on a desolate coast or island 
15-obviate: to anticipate and prevent or eliminate; render unnecessary
