Causative Verbs - MAKE, LET, HAVE and more. Part One.

source: Simple English Videos    2017年8月25日
When we want to indicate that one thing causes another, we often use a causative verb. They're jolly handy, but not always easy to use. There's a lot to cover so this is a two part lesson. In this first video we'll see lots of examples and check the meanings of the most common causative verbs (make, let, and have).
Causative verbs follow different structures and the most common ones are a bit strange. So in our next video we'll dive into the grammar so you know the patterns to follow to use causative verbs correctly.
I'll put a link here when it's published.
The causative verbs 'have' and 'get' are often used in the passive.
