How to start a sentence with an Adverb?

source: Learn English with Let's Talk      2018年2月6日
In this English lesson, you will learn how to start an English sentence with an adverb. We often need to use adverbs in our everyday English conversation as they describe the intensity of the actions we perform. In other words adverbs modify verbs, but have you ever thought about using an adverb at the start of the sentence? If you notice, someone who speaks fluent English or native English speakers use adverb at the start of the sentences across different situations in English conversation.

Adverbial Clauses: CONCESSIVE

source: Englishing     2018年2月18日
A clause which begins with a subordinating conjunction is called a subordinate clause. There are three kinds of subordinate clauses: Adverbial, Relative, Reported. In this lesson, Marc looks at “adverbial clauses”. There are eight types of adverbial clauses: conditional, purpose, reason, result, place, manner, time (click here to watch that lesson) and concessive clauses - which he talks about in this lesson. He provides easy examples for each of the five types of "concessive clauses" he talks about.

How Long Does it Take to Become Fluent in English?

source: To Fluency     2018年2月19日
The short answer to this common question is that it depends on you and what you do.
Some learners can make MASSIVE improvements within a few months. Others never improve.
The three main factors that dictate how quickly you can become fluent in English are:
1. Your current level - click here to test it: https://www.youtube.com/watch...
2. How many hours you spend learning English per day (the more you do, the better!)
3. What you do with your time.
If you can study English for two hours each day, here is what I recommend so that you can get fluent fast:
- 30 minutes working on your pronunciation
- 30 minutes reading and listening to something in English
- 30 minutes using my method: https://youtu.be/grxHW6kDhiE
- 30 minutes of speaking practice

Adjective Order - English Grammar Lesson

source: Oxford Online English      2016年4月22日
When you use several adjectives with a noun in English, the adjectives have to go in a specific order. For example, we say "strong black Italian coffee," but you can't say "strong Italian black coffee" or "Italian black strong coffee." Why not? Because of the adjective order rules.
The basic rules for adjective order are:
- Opinions go before facts
- General ideas go before specific ideas
There's also a more complicated rule, which you'll see in the video.
